When it comes to decorating our homes, a little history is a wonderful way to add interest and personality, as well as serving as a conversation piece. The trend for vintage and antique has always been popular whether it’s a magnificent antique cabinet, a vintage light fitting or an upcycled chair, and the beauty of these pieces is that they can be incorporated into such a huge range of styles. From valuable family heirlooms with sentimental significance to little trinkets collected from travels or rummaging in a pretty antique shop, introducing something old works wonders in traditional and contemporary settings alike.
If you’re a fan of vintage, antiques and reclaimed materials in your home, here’s what you need to look out for at the Cambridge Home + Garden Show.

The exhibitors at the Cambridge Home + Garden Show are wonderfully varied so no matter what your project, budget or style is, there should be something for everyone. We’ve got established national companies like Farrow & Ball and John Lewis of Hungerford, local independents like Cambridge Classics and Anglia Fireplaces, and freelance artists and designers like Laura Chaplin and Robert Barker. The show is proud to support and promote a variety of businesses and every single one is marvellous in their own unique way.
Today on the blog we’re celebrating those exhibitors that are brand new and you may not be familiar with. It’s so exciting to see new entrepreneurs and start up businesses so having them at the show for you to discover is brilliant. Here’s a round up of the emerging talent that will be exhibiting on the day.
